Biochar with CarbonBoost in the same bag
Wakefield Premium Biochar with CarbonBoost starts with Wakefield biochar and adds the CarbonBoost additive system for garden soil amendment use.
Choose it when you want the flexibility of straight biochar, but also want a product that includes CarbonBoost for biology-focused soil support. It can be mixed into garden soil, raised beds, containers, new lawn prep, and repair areas.
Use Premium Biochar when you want only biochar. Use Pro Garden Mix when you want a biochar-compost blend. Use this CarbonBoost product when you want biochar plus CarbonBoost in a retail garden format.

CarbonBoost is best for
Garden beds and raised beds
Mix it into soil when refreshing an existing bed, starting a new raised bed, or adding biochar to a garden mix.
Containers and potting mixes
Use it as part of a container or potting mix when you want biochar plus CarbonBoost without choosing a pre-blended compost product.
Lawns, patches, and repairs
Apply during new lawn prep, seeding, sod work, or repair areas where the product can be mixed into the soil.

When to choose CarbonBoost
Choose Premium Biochar with CarbonBoost when you want a straight biochar-style product with added CarbonBoost support. Choose Pro Garden Mix when you want biochar already blended with compost, or a crop-specific Wakefield blend when you want a product tailored to tomatoes, vegetables, cactus, or succulents.

Usage Guidance
Mix into soil at about 5-10% by volume
For most garden beds, raised beds, containers, and lawn repair projects, make Premium Biochar with CarbonBoost about 10% of the soil mix.
As a quick planning example, one 1 CF bag can cover about a 4 ft x 8 ft bed mixed 6 inches deep.
- For pots, raised beds, and gardens, mix thoroughly into the soil or growing mix.
- For new lawns, seeding, or sod, mix into the top layer of soil before planting.
- For existing lawn repairs or patches, aerate first, then rake into the soil.
- For larger beds or uncertain quantities, use the Biochar Calculator or ask Wakefield for product help.
